Former boss called me and asked me whether I want to help him out at the dvd/vcd warehouse. If I do take up the job, I will not be able to enjoy myself before school reopens. But the extra money really will help though. Haha. BUT after calling my friends who's working over there now. I decided not to take up the job already. There are already 7 temp workers there. Somehow I have the impression that my former boss just helping me to get some work as I asked him for this favour 2 months back.. Haha but things have definitely changed. Worked for 5 weeks already. Money should be in by this week. whoooo $$$$.
Upgrading my bike... getting clothes. Yeaa.

I told my supervisor that I would like to take one day off tmr, which she gladly gave me. haha. Made $35 bucks from goods sold. Still some $400 off my target though.
Couldnt stand the sight of my bike being covered up by dust in a corner. Promptly cycled to East Coast Park. Just me, my bike and my ipod. Think I covered 3 laps of ECP. Really love the feeling of wind rushing against me and the coolness of the night. Snap a pic. Blurred though. Actually wanted to snap a couple more pics. But decided against the idea upon realising is the 7th month. wait xiao jiang's face behind mine how? Better not.. >.<'''' While cycling I thought of this idea? Why dont I cycle the whollleeee of Singapore overnight? Wheee that would be cool. First I need to get some company, which already, is a challenge. Considering not many people own bikes. Nvm I shall see.. :)

Had Qiulian banmian with Cliff at Bedok today. Is really still as good man. Abundance of ingredients, spicy chillie padi. Yummy yummy miggie..
OC came by our workplace today. And she asked me whether I am looking forward to go back to school. I said 'sorta la'. haha. And then she came back and talked to the other NSF guys in the office. Hmmm hearing her speak, I cant help but think about my mother. Perpectually ending her sentences with hmmm? or hooor? She may appear to be strict in the office, but somehow I feel that she cares about the NSF guys there. And I think that it is just a front that she puts up in the office, to make people fear her to a certain extend, so that she could maintain some authority in the office.
My dad belongs to the opposite end of the pole. Disciplinarian , teaching me, scolding me, pinching my ears while I was young. But that never stop me from being naughty. I was way too naughty when I was young.. Peeing down from my window and stealing money are just some of the things that I had done.. Hmmm, but I guess I grew up alright..well at least up till this very moment. haha. One regret though, because of the way my daddy brought me up, up till now I seldom speak to him, except when he asks me qns. I just cant seem to break outta the impression of him that he has instilled into me since young.. that of a disciplinarian. Although I disagree with him and find him unreasonable at times, I still respect him for who he is, my father.
hmm, old age really scares me sometimes. Is always the same cycle. Once you fall, you have tobe dependent on someone. You might also have to wear adult pampers cos you have no control over your bowel movements. It really struck me when I look at my cousins now and realise that we have all grown up. It only seems like yesterday that we were playing wrestling on the bed and chasing one another throughout the house. Soon our parents will get old and we too... Is the same for everyone..I guess... except
for the way we live our lifes...

Bought quite a few Dvds. Initial D the movie is such a crap show.. I didnt even bother to finish watching it.. Which I seldom do with movies thatI buy. Is really pathetic compared to the anime... Got wedding crashers too. Heard that is crap also. Nevertheless I'll try to watch it sometime when I am free. Seven swords was o-k-a-y only. Storyline/plot predictable and thin. Land of the dead is o-k-a-y also but more entertaining then seven swords. Haha.
transfered 139 songs outa the 188 from the cdr that I bought. The rest seems to be stuck inside there. Endless jams from the cd. Wasted man.
Cant wait to get my pay, upon which endless pleasures shall follow. mwahahaha

Woke up late, purposely went in late for work as it is friday. Saw haff again on my way to work. Haha joyious mood around, as OC was on leave today and it. is. friday. Fainted. haha
Finish reading Perfume today. Haha quite an achievement, considering I havent read a book for a loong loong time. I think I'll be reading the Chronicles of Narnia next. Such coincidence that my sister recommended that to me and I saw an advert of it on the bus later today.
Really happy at my workplace and the general environment that I am working in. Work has been coming in consistently, which was perfect. I would prefer to work rather then stare into blank space and trying to look busy. Best of all, work has been simple. Check, enter, click, next, stamp.
Well, found out from the perm staff over there that we would be the last batch of temp staffs working there. As manual workflow has been gradually replaced by computers. This really brought me back to CBIS which I learnt in yr 2. hahahahha Seriously, I felt that I had to resist this invasive nature of technology to replace ME in the workplace. Resistance would seriously be much greater if I am a perm staff there.. Hmmms technology technology, bringing work back to our houses, through our handphones and computers.. too invasive for my liking.
Today my friend told me about his other colleague who dabbles with the unnatural, the supernatural, ghosts, curses and stuffs. I dunno about you. But frankly, knowing someone who dabbles in these discomforts me. And from the look of it, he's not doing these as a career as a fortune teller or a priest or something. It seems like he's doing these for the mere fun of it!!! What audacity and remarkable courage he has.. But I would rather not get to know him or anyone of that sort. It makes me feel uneasy. Keeping a baby ghost to help you pick 4D numbers? buy toys for him/her? Pampering it>>?? I would not do this even for a million bucks.
/me waves wand bi baba boommz. off with you

Reached office late by 5 minutes again. Although my time shows 0830, the office clock always show 0835 when I step into the office. Somehow I have a feeling this is part of a higher order that I must always be 5 minutes late. Just like he made the bus late by 5 minutes. Made a bapok walk to the bus-stop where I am at, causing 'casual' stares and 'eeees' by the sight of an indian man, broad shoulders, wearing a tube-like dress with the edges of the skirt with sharp jagged edges at its end. What a ghastly sight, enough to puke yesterday's dinner out. Women dont even look good in that, how could a man do it. yucks. revolting, utterly disgusted.
Anyway I was making shuttling periodic trips to the toilet as usual when I heard a commotion from the office.
**yak yaky ak tyak yak. chi p chip chip chip**
Apparently, a female worker in the office had been beaten up by her brother or husband.. Didnt quite catch it, and had landed up in hospital. Think she suffered some internal injuries as a result. Colleagues then argued about some transportation issue to visit her in the hospital. guys dont go around beating girls ok. If your girl - friend beats you first. Shout " You're a fat smelly pig" then run off in the other direction. that will make her fume.. HAHAHA
Went to bedok to get my facial wash. and to my suprise saw some mp3 music being sold. Just right. la. Bought a piece and am downloading the songs now..

My friend, my colleague at work. Claims he could stare at a piece of paper with nonsencical numbers scribbled over it for 1 hour. Is really impressive how boredom can push human capacity to focus and innovate on the most mundane things. Of course I dont believe that he could do it.. And he immd demonstrated to me. Wah. Seems like he's really doing work man, HAHAha. And there's a certain code that you could type in microsoft word and upon execution, the phrase "The wild brown fox jumped over the ledge" would repeat itself x 1000 times and spanning 100+ pages.. my friend would then stare at it for sometime. and pretend to be working. ohhhh.... bad bad boy.
Had Marche for lunch last saturday. $31+ food not that good. rather spend the same amt somewhere where I could get better food.
Before that, I went on a shopping frenzy before the regular crowd sets in on orchard. Bought 5 t-shirts. whoohoo.. 3 from fox and 2 from topman. Fox having discount now. Where if you buy 3 and above every piece will have 70% discount. So all the metrosexuals and vainpots down there go grab your goodies. and burn a hole in your pockets in the process.
PS : I hate orchard on the weekends.
My female colleague who came to work at the same time as me did not get an extension largely due to the fact she was sick for the whole week this week passed. Fever fluctuates up and down, suspected case of dengue. But I think she's okay now. I dont think I will ever see her again, hope she gets another job soon.. =)
Lernt something new in work on friday. Just as well. Getting bored with the current one. Little did I know the new one's worse. But for money, I willing. ..
Oh ya, read from my friend's blog she's reading a book titled 'perfume'. Remembered my elder sis has the book as well.. Sooo I am reading it as well! haha. A rather interesting book I must say...

Yes, EPL is back. Chelsea won the curtain raiser tonight, Charity Shield. They still play the same way, i.e. not playing entertaining football but still getting the results.Representing the epitome of efficient football man. Haha but I dont like them.. Bleahz. I think Manchester United will win this season. I let you ten balls that they'll win, if not I pay you ten times the amount. mwahahaha.
Oh ya, this coming tuesday will be National Day. Is time to catch some fireworks again. Sadly I cant watch it from my flat. And I have never been to National Stadium on our country's birthday before. Deprived little boy I am. : (

My colleague pointed out a journal written by one of the nsfs on the computer to us today. The journal is titled " Missing you in my diary" Hmmms.. As work was okay today and my friend having already read a few entries or all of it.. We opened it and read the contents inside. This occured when his friends werent around and he happened to be on MC today. How lucky right. haha
There were about 30-40 folders in the file. Each representing a day that passes in which he wrote how much he misses 'her'. The contents were really mushy man and I could tell that what he wrote there really came from his heart. Hmmm I dunno whether he would mind us reading the journal actually, but he definitely did not make much effort to keep it away and to stuff it into some deep dark corner. I actually admire him for having the courage to actually write down such personal thoughts and stuff that if I actually wrote down my truest deepest feelings and thoughts I would have to lock it up in a safe. Haha.
Anyway I read till the 3rd day of the journal before more work came in. Well from the first few entries I presumed that he liked this girl alot alot, but I cant determine whether they are together..Well she was a temp staff like us also. However, according to W (who have read further ahead then me) told me that they broke up somewhere between the folders.
Hmmmss, sad eh? Well, unintentionally I got to know this guy better through reading the journal and I realise why he always had the aura of moodiness around him. Just wish him the best bah.
I feel that my life is gradually being oriented $$$. The people I meet nowadays always will try to sell me stuff, introduce me to more plans in making more $$$ which requires me to invest more $$$ and time time time. Somehow I am missing school a bit already.

Sister " Hey boy I really cannot stand it when people give advice when all you need is a listening ear. They are implying that you have to be like them to be successful in life and wadever wadever, whereas he/she is a friend that you havent talked to in 6 months and he/she is offering you advice. I think that as people grow older and when you look at your friends around you, you find that people are always thinking him/herself is right, just because he/she is getting older as time flies."
I was a bit startled upon hearing this. Cos, I realise sometimes I do offer some advice to people as well, I cant recall now, but i think I definitely have. And sub-consciously I think of myself as 'better' than my friend. I dunno whether you people have felt that way, but I definitely had, a few times.. In what capacity do I have the right to do that.... I asked myself now..? You can never understand the other party unless you are him or her... So just shhhhhhh and
listen and listen and listen...
